Membership

Rainbow Wellington membership is open to everyone from business organisations and community groups, business owners, executives, professionals, academics, diplomats, politicians, media, students, artists, activists and entertainers. Non-LGBTQI+ members who actively support the Rainbow community are also more than welcome.

We offer four types of Membership – personal, small business, corporate and community – providing everyone with opportunities to learn, network and promote their services to both the LGBTQI+ community and allies.

MEMBER BENEFITS

  • Support the grants and financial support we give to community groups in Wellington.
  • A mix of free and subsidised access to professional events and forums.
  • Regular networking opportunities with other Wellington based professionals and community group leaders.
  • Opportunities to participate in human rights awareness campaigns that help to grow and strengthen our wider community.
  • Opportunities to promote LGBTQI+ projects and related activities on Rainbow Wellington website and social media pages.
  • Access to Rainbow Auckland events.

Membership Portal

Personal Membership

For individuals, students, under 25s, over 65s and Lifetime Members, benefits include:

  • Preferential and/or discounted entry to other paid events.
  • Social and professional networking opportunities.

$50 per year 
Full Time Student or Unwaged – $30 per year.

Small business members

Small Businesses will receive all Personal Member benefits plus:

  • Bundle access for multiple staff (between 2 and up to 4).
  • Option to list and promote your business on the Rainbow Wellington Facebook page.
  • Your organisation’s logo and link on the Rainbow Wellington website.

$200 per year 

Corporate members

Corporate Members will receive all Small Business Member benefits plus:

  • Bundle access for multiple staff (between 2 and up to 20)
  • Speaking opportunity (pitch) at Rainbow Wellington Mixer event.
  • Opportunity to host a Business Networking event.

$1000 per year 

Not for profit / Community Members

For Community and Not-For-Profit organisations, you’ll receive all Small Business Member benefits plus:

  • Bundle access for multiple staff (up to 3).

$100 per year
